Celebrating NBTC25

2026 marks NBTC25 - 25 years of the National Blood Transfusion Committee. To celebrate this milestone, we've created a commemorative slide deck for the SHOT Symposium 2026 and our celebratory year, recognising the NBTC's contribution to improving transfusion practice, patient blood management and transfusion safety over the past quarter century.

Transfusion Practitioners Vicky Waddoups (Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust) and Aimee Burtenshaw (University Hospitals of Derby and Burton) proudly represented the TP community at the IBMS Congress in Birmingham last week.
