Patient Blood Management Update

We have been made aware of a technical issue affecting the blood transfusion shared care communication form. The shared‑care blood transfusion communication form was developed and is owned by the National Blood Transfusion Committee (NBTC) Shared Care Working Group with input from SHOT.

The project had a target of 30 hospitals live with Fetal RhD electronic requesting and reporting by the end of the 2024/25 financial year. 

We are pleased to announce that we now have 35 sites live, 27 on Winpath Enterprise LIMS and 8 on EPIC EPR.

We are hosting some further drop-in sessions following the launch of RCI Assist to provide an opportunity to ask any questions or get a live demo. The sessions are 60 minutes. Please feel free to join the full session, or pop in and out at your convenience.
