Transfusion Training Hub wins an award. Best abstract at SHOT!

An abstract submitted to SHOT outlining the development of the Transfusion Training Hub was awarded first place at this years SHOT symposium.  

Subject matter expert, Jill Caulfield, worked alongside members of the Education Working Group to develop the Transfusion Training Hub and presented her findings at the SHOT symposium, together with a poster submission. The symposium was a great event and provided the T24 team with a platform to showcase some of the worthwhile projects they are working on. (See photos and presentations attached).

The National Blood Transfusion Committee (NBTC) website now hosts a small collection of recent national publications exploring transfusion safety and efficiency across the NHS.

The new section, “Overviews and Perspectives on Transfusion Safety and Efficiency”, brings toge
